Pentadyne Ranked #1 in Growth by Los Angeles Business Journal

Chatsworth, Calif. – Nov. 19, 2008 – Pentadyne Power Corporation, the world leader in flywheel energy storage systems, was named Monday as the #1 fastest growing private company in Greater Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

In an article in this week’s edition of one of the nation’s leading regional business publications, Los Angeles Business Journal staff writer Richard Clough wrote: “With more than 600 systems sold since commencing commercial operations in May 2006, the Chatsworth-based company has become one of the largest flywheel companies in the world. At the same time, an astounding 1,857 percent growth in revenue from 2005 through 2007 has landed Pentadyne atop the Business Journal’s annual list of the fastest-growing private companies.”

Earlier this month, Pentadyne received a similar #1 fastest growth recognition award from the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.

“We are very proud and honored to be recognized by the Los Angeles Journal as the fastest growing private company in all of Los Angeles,” said Pentadyne President & CEO Mark McGough. “While the recession has taken its toll on many businesses, Pentadyne continues to grow and prosper thanks to our valued customers.”
